Ran my long run today. 13 miles on the rail trail. Felt really good at first but my AP was still slower than I like. I really struggled the last 3 miles, taking frequent walk breaks. I kept wondering how I was going to finish this race at a faster pace when I'm having such a difficult time at a 11:00 mile pace. Guess I have to keep trying to go faster although I don't like it. Resting tomorrow then I will do an easy run friday and try some speed work on Saturday. |
