What a wonderful day!  Stayed over with QP and got up early to drive to the race (with our Mr's in tow).  The morning was cold and windy so we were grateful for the full sun.  QP reminded me of those hot August days when we would dream of our own ice tunnel for just a moment of coolness.  We definitely found it!  The course wound through a golfing community covered in whispering pines.  It was beautiful and hilly.  The hills seemed to be continuous but made for a great workout.  My hamstrings are still thanking me.  A walk around the neighborhood that evening really helped loosen everything up :)  The great friends and food (QP fed us well) made for the perfect weekend.    Let the holidays begin!
