Went to the gym so I wouldn't have to bring my sweat buckets...still needed one.  Ran the 1st mile at 10:30 (warm-up).  On the 2nd mile I did the first 1/4 at 8:41, next 1/4 at 9:40, last 1/2 at 8:41.  The last mile I did 9:40.

I was happy with my 8:41 pace for 1/2 mile.  Next time I want to hold that through the whole mile instead on 3/4 of it.  Was kind of creeped out and distracted by this man next to me on the treadmill because out of 15 empty treadmills he chooses the one right next to me!  He was in my space and it bothered me. Instead of staying focused on my run, I was fantasizing the slap down he was going to get if he tried anything funny :)

Afterwards I worked on my planks.  Did 4 girlie push-ups...went for a real push-up...failed.  Will keep trying.

HA! That is too funny. I always have to scope out the TM far away from people too. I had to move the other day though, because the TV on the once I chose didn't work, then there was no air and no window in front of the next one, so I had to go just one away from the next person. I felt like such an invader! I wasn't even right next to her, but one away. At least it kept your mind off your awesome speedy pace! Or, it helped you run a little faster :)

I wish I could have been there for you- I would have done the slap down just for being too close. No provocation necessary. One free slap-down courtesy of "the pirate."

Tear Ree - slap down - gym workouts where you just want no company, no chit chat, just get lost in the music, some people just do not get it. Spin classes do get boring at times. Gotta love that outdoors.
