Went to the gym so I wouldn't have to bring my sweat buckets...still needed one. Ran the 1st mile at 10:30 (warm-up). On the 2nd mile I did the first 1/4 at 8:41, next 1/4 at 9:40, last 1/2 at 8:41. The last mile I did 9:40. I was happy with my 8:41 pace for 1/2 mile. Next time I want to hold that through the whole mile instead on 3/4 of it. Was kind of creeped out and distracted by this man next to me on the treadmill because out of 15 empty treadmills he chooses the one right next to me! He was in my space and it bothered me. Instead of staying focused on my run, I was fantasizing the slap down he was going to get if he tried anything funny :) Afterwards I worked on my planks. Did 4 girlie push-ups...went for a real push-up...failed. Will keep trying. |
