Ran 5 miles at the campground.  Rick (my hubby), rode along on the bike with gatorade and a dog fighting stick.  Didn't have any trouble with dogs but came across a huge snapping turtle (Rick couldn't resist poking him with his stick).  It was very humid but overcast (thank goodness).  Rick couldn't resist riding into a cornfield to find out what the buzzards were eating.  Turns out they weren't eating anything and now he is having a case of tick phobia since he went in the field.  I laughed as the buzzards flew off as he rode toward them in the field.  I love how weird we are.  Keeps life interesting.

Sounds like a fun place to run! I love that your husband brought a fighting stick. It made me laugh. I can't believe your ran across a turtle! You live in Maryland?

Your husband is awesome! It's a good thing him & MR weren't together. The turtle would have run off into the corn field begging the vultures for mercy!

We gotta love our waterboys. They're a pretty good substitute when we can't have our real running buddies.

You are so right QP. Love it when our boys get together.

You guessed it Steam8, we live in MD. The turtle was the size of a spade shovel. I didn't want to get too close. I need all my fingers and toes.
