I'm officially starting my Marathon training this week. I ran 3 miles on monday and did core work and hand weights. Tuesday I spun for 17 miles...worked up a good sweat. Today I ran on the treadmill for 5 miles, 3 of those were tempo miles. I repeated my core work and hand weights routine. Good long stretch afterward :) Grad work is interfering with my long run for this saturday (have to meet a client) so I am going to try to do it early on the treadmill Friday am. I need some encouragement to run 8 miles at 5am...got any? |
