I've noticed my pace has gradually been getting slower. My AP use to be 9:30. I'm going to spend this winter trying to bring my AP back down in the 9's on my long runs.

Terri, rail trails, trails always have a slower pace, good luck with the pace, throw some short 3 or 4 mile tempo runs in each week at a faster pace, you cannot run faster unless you run faster.

Terri- I think I want to work on increasing my pace over the winter too. Less miles, but faster. I know Brent's right...gotta run faster to run faster. Sounds so simple, doesn't it? I'm just not a fan of speedwork!!
