9 miles with my niece.  I ran while she rode her bike.  We did hills and wooded trails.  It was a beautiful cool morning so we were glad we got up early.  We planned on doing 13 miles today but my knee tweaked at 9 miles so I stopped for a second then tried again and it tweaked again so I decided to stop and call it a day.  I iced it on the way home and have no other problems all day.  I'm hoping I stopped fast enough so I won't have an issue when I run again on Monday.  I have a 10K next Saturday so I think I'll take it a little easier this week coming.

taper time is a good time to let the knee rest & recover.
